What You Get When You Buy a Rank
When you buy a rank on CrowdSpark, you get your name, optional URL, and optional note displayed on the public ranking board. You are buying a position on the list, not traffic, views, clicks, or impressions. No visitor guarantees, no analytics, no performance metrics.
What You Actually Get
Your payment gives you:
- A position on the public ranking board (initially #1, drops when someone else pays)
- Display name (1-64 characters, required, publicly visible)
- Optional URL (clickable link on your entry)
- Optional note (up to 140 characters, publicly visible)
- Permanent placement (entries are never deleted)
Do I Get Traffic?
No. CrowdSpark makes no promises about traffic, visitors, views, clicks, or impressions. You are purchasing a ranking position on a public list, not an advertising campaign or traffic generation service.
If people visit crowdspark.me and click your URL, that's incidental. We don't track, measure, or guarantee any traffic metrics.
Do I Get Analytics?
No. There is no dashboard, no account, no analytics, and no performance tracking. You won't see:
- How many people viewed the board
- How many people clicked your URL
- Where visitors came from
- Any engagement or conversion metrics
Is This Advertising?
Not in the traditional sense. Advertising typically involves:
- Targeting specific audiences
- Guaranteed impressions or reach
- Performance tracking and optimization
- CPM, CPC, or CPA pricing models
CrowdSpark offers none of these. It's purely a ranking position with your information displayed publicly.
What Can I Use It For?
People use CrowdSpark for various reasons:
- Link to a project, startup, or portfolio
- Make a public statement or announcement
- Support a cause or share a message
- Compete with friends or colleagues
- Claim bragging rights for being #1
Whatever your reason, understand that you're buying visibility on a public board, not a business outcome.
Is It Permanent?
Yes. All entries are permanent and publicly visible. Your entry will never be removed from the board. However, your position (#1, #2, #3, etc.) changes as new people pay to take #1. Your entry drops down the list but stays on the board forever.
Can I Edit My Entry?
No. Entries are immutable after payment confirmation. Make sure your display name, URL, and note are correct before completing the payment.
